Believe Project: $100 for books for a teenager who is in and out of the hospital

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Margaret Hutton of Batavia.

Here is an excerpt of her pitch:

"There is a family whose daughter is in and out of the hospital waiting for her to be well enough to replace her esophagus. She is 16 years old and weighs 83 pounds, because of a persistent lung fungus. She misses school and her friends. With $100 I would get her some books and a book light. She loves to read."

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
