Blue Jackets call up Dansk, assign Forsberg; Skille injured

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled goaltender Oscar Dansk from their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts, while assigning goalie Anton Forsberg to the same club. The Blue Jackets also placed right wing Jack Skille on the injured list.

Skille will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery next week to repair a shoulder injury.

Dansk, who will serve as Curtis McElhinney's backup until starter Sergei Bobrovsky returns from a groin injury later this week, is 7-5-5 with a 3.46 goals-against average and .833 save percentage in 19 games with Springfield in his first pro season.

Forsberg is 0-4-0 with a 4.49 goals-against average and .866 save percentage in five games with Columbus.

Skille has six goals and two assists in 45 games for the Blue Jackets.
