Neighbors responsible for 3 bank robberies, police say

ST. PETERS, Mo. (AP) - Two unemployed men who live next to each other are suspected of three bank robberies in the St. Louis area.

The men, 38-year-old Brendon Marshall Collier and 53-year-old Marc Gordon Miller, both of St. Louis, are charged with robbing a U.S. Bank inside a St. Peters Schnucks store last week.

Authorities say Collier also admitted robbing banks in the Illinois towns of Fairview Heights and Collinsville, too, and identified Miller as his accomplice.

Miller allegedly told police he has been jobless since 2003 and needed money for food.

Both men are jailed on $50,000 cash-only bond. Charges in Illinois have not been filed.
