It's all about the dogs, and cats, at Buddy Foundation

Experience the joy and unconditional love that a pet brings to your life by adopting a dog or cat from The Buddy Foundation. Buddy has an ever-changing selection of dogs and cats - all ages, breeds and temperaments. All animals have been checked, medically treated, spayed/neutered and are ready for their own loving home.

When you look into their big brown (or blue) eyes, you see loyalty, love and longing for a forever home. From puppies to seniors, long hair to short, playful or easygoing, Buddy has a dog for every type of person. Featured below are some of Buddy's animals.

Meet Casey a 41-pound, male, Border Collie/Labrador retriever mix. Casey loves to play. He can play with his tennis ball or stuffed animals for hours on end if you let him. If you know anything about his breed, you know that he needs a job to do. Casey would love to take agility training classes, go for runs or even bike rides. He needs a special kind of owner. Someone who will take time to let him trust them, someone not too pushy. Casey is leery of strangers and should be introduced slowly to new people. Due to his high energy, it would be best if he was in a home without small children because sometimes he can be food/toy possessive. If you're someone who is active, strong, and patient. Casey is the guy for you! Come and visit.

• Chester is a 68-pound, male chocolate Labrador mix, who loves to play with tennis balls, splash in the pool, and spend time outside. You can count on Chester to snuggle up with you during these cold months. He is at his happiest when receiving attention and love. Chester is potty trained and love treats. He seems to like other dogs, but is leery of some men.

• Peachtree is a 50-pound, female, Staffordshire terrier/boxer mix, who is about 4 years old. She may look tough in the picture, but she is a true sweetheart! Peachtree does not like to walk much on the leash, but she does enjoy playing in the yard. Sometimes she get spurts of energy and run circles around the volunteers. If you're looking for a friend who is mellow, and enjoys a cuddle, Peachtree is your girl.
