"Wishing for Spring" meat raffle set for March 7

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post 1231 will host a "Wishing for Spring" meat raffle at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the post home, 1101 W. Algonquin Road in Lake in the Hills

Let's get ready for spring with a meat raffle that will offer roasts, sausages, steaks, ribs, pub burgers, chops and more varieties of meat to win. There will be multiple winners per raffle.

This fundraiser is open to the public, so bring your family, friends and neighbors too.

Snacks will be served and drink specials will be available. Proceeds will assist with funding American Legion events and keeping the post open for the benefit of all veterans and their families.
