Gia Mia gives Wheaton an upscale pizza bar

An upscale, family-friendly pizza bar is headed to downtown Wheaton this spring. Gia Mia is a creation of chef Brian Goewey, co-owner and chef at Fire + Wine pizza bar in neighboring Glen Ellyn. His new eatery will feature the classical Neapolitan style found in Italy as well as an extensive liquor collection. Sit at the counter and see your pizza come together with farm-to-table ingredients at the pizza station then watch it cook in an imported pizza oven.

Gia Mia will be at 106 N. Hale St., Wheaton.
