Library to Hold Teen Job Fair

Teens ages 15 to 19 are invited to a Teen Job Fair from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Rasmussen Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Many employers will be taking applications, while organizations will be looking for volunteers. Attendees can also receive resume assistance and interview guidance.

"Due to the overwhelming success of the Library's 2014 Teen Job Fair, it was clear this should become an annual event," said Katie LaMantia, teen librarian. "Teenagers are a vital resource to the community and economy, and by offering an annual Teen Job Fair, we hope to provide a range of services and resources that will benefit teenagers and local businesses."

Teens are welcome to drop in anytime during the job fair, which will include more than 15 organizations, businesses and speakers. No registration is required for this free event.
