Cardiothoracic Surgeon Now Exclusively at Vista East

Vista recently welcomed the full-time addition of Lambros Tsonis, M.D., Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeon, who is now treating patients exclusively at Vista Medical Center East, 1324 N. Sheridan Road in Waukegan.

Dr. Tsonis performs all types of open heart procedures, including cardiac bypass, valves and aortic surgery, as well as lung and vascular surgery.

Dr. Tsonis earned his medical degree from Boston University Medical School and completed his residency and fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. Prior to joining Vista, he was on staff at numerous hospitals, including Elmhurst Hospital and Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, in addition to Loyola. He is board certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery and is a member of Cardiac Surgery Associates.
