Enjoy a free supper on Tuesdays at church

Free Community Third Tuesday Supper will be available from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 17 in the dining hall at United Methodist Church of Geneva, 211 Hamilton St.

There is elevator access. Diners may eat in or carry out their meal.

The "Stuffed Potato Supper" will feature a large russet or sweet potato with a variety of savory toppings including chili, broccoli in cheddar sauce, chipped beef in cream sauce, butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, chives, brown sugar, as well as a tossed salad. Hot dogs and carrots and dip are available as an alternative meal.

The free community suppers are now serving between 550 and 700 guests at each supper. They will be preparing 700 meals of the featured menu and apologize if you arrive and they have made some substitutions.

The suppers are still free to all who show up and no reservations needed. The suppers attract guests from all over the Fox Valley and beyond.

Anyone wishing to donate money to the supper program can do so by sending a check to the church office marked Third Tuesday Suppers, or by donating in The Quiet Can that sits on the beverage table on supper night. All funds received go directly to supper expenses.
