'Little Patch of Heaven Radio Show' delivers laughs and song

The Musical Moms are back to sing everything from opera to bluegrass at the sixth annual musical revue "Little Patch of Heaven Radio Show" at 7:30 p.m. March 13 and 3 p.m. March 14 in the sanctuary at College Church, 332 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton.

Presented as an old-time radio live broadcast, complete with singing commercials, spoofs on Wheaton and a whole lot of laughs, the show stars the Musical Moms - aka Joleen Billingham, Marcia Macy and Robin Wiper - and Todd Busteed as master of ceremonies.

The audience of more than 1,000 last year gave the show rave reviews. Desserts are served afterward. The cost for attending is a freewill donation to STARS Family Services.

STARS Family Services was created to help supply living arrangements and related services to adults with intellectual disabilities who are participants in the STARS ministry at College Church.

STARS' first home opened in June 2011. The ministry plans to open a home for women in 2015.
