Junior Bison Parent/Athlete Clinic teaches football skills

Third through eighth grade athletes who live in High School District 214's boundaries and their parents are invited to Buffalo Grove High School's Junior Bison/Parent Football Clinic.

Presented by the Buffalo Grove varsity football staff, parents and kids will be coached together on the basic skills needed to become a successful football player.

The objective is for players and their parents to participate so they can continue to develop their skill level from the drills that they learned.

The clinic will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Buffalo Grove High School Field House, 1100 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove.

The cost, which covers a T-shirt, is $10 for each participant; the registration deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 17. Checks may be made payable to Buffalo Grove High School with "Interactive Football Clinic" in the memo section and mailed to Mike DiMatteo's attention at Buffalo Grove High School, 1100 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089.

Indicate shirt size for player - S, M, L, XL, and for parent - S, M, L, XL, XXL. All participants should bring shorts and gym shoes to the event.

Walk-ins are also welcome, although registration at the door is $15 per participant and attendees may have to wait for the clinic T-shirt if their size is not available.
