Country House restaurant opens in Lisle

Country House Restaurants, known for their burgers, announced it opened its new Lisle location at 2799 Maple Ave. in College Square Mall.

The eatery will keep the same rustic tavern look and feel of the other restaurants in Geneva and Clarendon Hills, complete with Country House relics and photos. In addition, the new Lisle location features an outdoor seating area, an antique bar, and a room designated for special events and banquets.

"We are thrilled about the new location," said Dean Timson, co-owner of Country House Restaurants. "The new space will resemble the Country House people know and love, but with the addition of some cool, new items."

Country House Lisle will continue serving their much-loved "Country Burger" at the new location. In addition, their wide selection of burgers features a buffalo burger, ostrich burger, and turkey burger.

With over 75 years of continued business, the business was built with the objective of creating a place for locals to gather for good conversation, a cold beer and a sandwich, according to a news release. Country House Restaurants thrived in creating a cozy atmosphere with casual dining and pricing.
