Gurnee Days nominations:

The Gurnee Days Corporation is seeking nominations for a living individual or couple who has given selfless service to the Gurnee community to be honored as grand marshal of the Gurnee Days parade. To qualify for the nomination, the person(s) must have provided a meaningful contribution to the village of Gurnee community for 10 years or more. The person(s) selected will be honored at a testimonial dinner to be held Thursday, Aug. 6. In addition, the individual(s) will serve as grand marshal(s) of the Gurnee Days parade Sunday, Aug. 9. The nomination is to be submitted using a nomination form and must be postmarked on or before March 23. Nomination forms may be picked up at the Gurnee Village Hall, Gurnee Park District or download the form from the Gurnee Days website, gurneedays.com.
