Vandersloot agrees to deal with Sky

The Chicago Sky has re-signed point guard Courtney Vandersloot for the 2015 season, team officials announced Tuesday.

In her fourth season with the Sky, Vandersloot averaged 7.2 points per game and 6 assists per game.

"Courtney's ability to run our team, emergence as a leader and sheer toughness have been key factors in our success," said Sky head coach and general manager Pokey Chatman, whose team captured the Eastern Conference title last season. "I'm looking forward to her continued growth."

The third overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft, Vandersloot is the Sky's all-time assist leader with 580 assists.
