Taxi driver found shot dead in Chicago suburb of Maywood
MAYWOOD, Ill. (AP) - Police in the Chicago suburb of Maywood say a taxi driver was found shot to death behind the wheel of his cab.
Maywood police spokesman Officer Persia Allen says 34-year-old Seneca Richardson was found shot in his back Friday night.
The Cook County medical examiner says Richardson was pronounced dead at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Allen says investigators believe Richardson was the victim of an armed robbery.
Police are continuing to investigate.
