Palatine Township Senior Center holding fundraising gala

Drama, intrigue and romance will fill the air at the 15th annual Palatine Township Senior Center Caring Hearts Gala, “Phantom of the Gala — A Masquerade Ball!”

Enjoy a live performance of the song “All I Ask of You” by Music on Stage performers. Make sure to bring your fully charged smartphone or tablet to bid on the silent auction items or to donate to Palatine Township Senior Center Council.

Get your complimentary photos as you arrive and enjoy the traditional photo booth shots after 9 p.m. provided by Party Photo Booths and sponsored by Lavelle Law Ltd. See who will win the chocolate mask donated by Morkes Chocolates that will be at each table.

Dance the night away to the Original Rockin' Fenderskirts. Meet our guest of honor, A. L. Sittaro, former PTSCC board chair, and hear about the vital work that the Palatine Township Senior Center is doing in Palatine Township and surrounding communities.

Try your luck on our cash raffle! Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 with cash prizes of $500, $150, and $50.

Live auction items include two sets of Blackhawks tickets, White Sox “Gold Coast Club Tickets,” Walt Disney World Hopper passes, two sets of Cubs tickets, Bulls tickets, Cook Cork and Fork class for up to 16 people, Zip Line tour, golf foursomes, live taping of WTTW's Chicago Tonight and more than 100 silent auctions items, including a Weber grill and Waterford crystal.

This black-tie optional or costume event includes open bar, hand-passed hors d'oeuvres and four-course dinner. Tickets are $125 and can be bought at www.ptscc.org, or by at the center, 505 S. Quentin Road, Palatine.

The Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council operates the Palatine Township Senior Center, a private, not-for-profit organization, providing innovative, quality, cost-effective services to adults age 50 and older in the Northwest suburbs for more than 40 years. It is one of five senior centers in Illinois accredited by the National Institute of Senior Centers.
