McElroy Pediatric Dentistry offers First Smiles program

McElroy Pediatric Dentistry of Bloomingdale is announcing their First Smiles Program for National Children's Dental Health Month. The Free Smiles program will provide free exams to children under the age of 2.

The free First Smiles appointments include a comprehensive exam, fluoride treatment, and infant/toddler dental care information. These no-charge appointments for community toddlers will be available in the mornings by appointment only. A child's first visit should occur when their first tooth appears, or before their first birthday.

Those interested in scheduling a First Smiles appointment should call (630) 351-4440.

"We are excited to be celebrating National Children's Dental Health Month by offering these free First Smiles appointments to local families," Dr. William McElroy said. "With children's oral health being so important to their overall health and self-esteem the best way to ensure a lifetime healthy smile is to get started early. Parents that are prepared with the latest information at once are in position to develop healthy habits from the start and have a dental home with the resources they need."

February has been designated National Children's Dental Health Month by the American Dental Association to raise awareness about the importance of oral health.

McElroy Pediatric Dentistry provides specialized dentistry for infants, children, adolescents and children with special needs in a child-friendly environment. Our friendly team strives to make your child's visit effective and enjoyable each and every time.
