Make valentines at museum:
Young kids can team with adults to make valentines and sweet treats Feb. 11, at the Lake County Discovery Museum near Wauconda. The activity begins at 10 a.m. at the museum, which is in the Lakewood Forest Preserve. The activity is for children 2 to 5 years old. The price is $2.50 for kids and $6 for adults, and that includes museum admission. To register, go to lcfpd.org or call (847) 968-3321.
