HELP to host cat, kitten adoption day Feb. 14

Homes for Endangered and Lost Pets will host a cat and kitten adoption day from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Healthy Pet and Boutique, 2620 N. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora.

Adoption fees vary depending on the age of the cat, and includes spaying or neutering, updated vaccinations, treatment for parasites and microchipping.

Adoption counselors will be available and an adoption application is required.

You can download an application from helpinganimals.org and bring it with you or fill one out online. Applications also will be available at the event.

All of the cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up-to-date with their shots.

It strives to provide medical care and a safe, happy, and comfortable living environment for as many cats and dogs possible while maintaining a high standard of care for these animals and making a best effort to ensure these animals are adopted into quality adoptive homes. It is committed to educating the community on improving the lives of pets, and reducing the stray and abandoned domestic animal population as well as to promote spay/neuter programs.
