Plato Center HCE to learn 'The ABC of GMOs'

The Plato Center unit for Home and Community Education will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at the Plato Town Hall, 10N924 Rippberger Road.

The hostesses are Barbara Lee and Verlene Schroeder. The Lesson for Living is "The ABC of GMOs". This lesson is very interesting and informative.

Feb. 26 is the annual Fun Day/Fine Arts at the Advent Christian Church in Aurora. Reservations must be made as soon as possible. The cost is $15.

There will be a informative meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Feb. 16 at the Extension office, 535 S. Randall Road in St. Charles. A representative from the Citizens Utility Board will present a program on "Keeping Utility Bills Under Control." The general public are invited to the meeting, call the extension office at (630) 584-6166 to make reservations so that CUB knows how many handouts to bring.
