SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Jewell Loyd scored 20 points, Lindsay Allen added 18 and No. 4 Notre Dame forced 30 turnovers in a 92-63 win over Wake Forest on Sunday.

The Fighting Irish (21-2, 8-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) took control with a 14-0 run in the first half and ended a threat by the Demon Deacons (10-13, 1-8) in the second half with a 13-0 run.

The Irish scored 42 points off turnovers while Wake Forest had just 10 points off 19 turnovers by Notre Dame. Madison Cable, who added 12 points, had six steals for the Irish and Allen had four steals. Brianna Turner and Kathryn Westbeld had 10 points each.

Dearica Hamby, third in the ACC in scoring, led Wake Forest with 23 points and 10 rebounds and Milan Quinn added 14 points.

Hamby kept the Demon Deacons in the game early, scoring 11 of Wake Forest's first 22 points in the opening 12 minutes. Wake Forest led briefly, going ahead 9-6 lead early on a 17-foot jumper by Kelila Atkinson. The Irish twice opened six-point leads, but Hamby kept hitting shots to keep the Demon Deacons close.

Hamby finally ended the run with a pair of free throws.

The Irish eventually extended the lead to 47-27 on a baseline jumper by Taya Reimer with a minute left in the first half. The Irish led 47-30 at halftime.

Wake Forest cut the lead to 63-53 midway through the second half on a layup by Kelila Atkinson and a pair of free throws by Quinn. But the Irish ended the threat with a layup by Markisha Wright and a four-point play by Cable that helped spark the 13-0 run.
