Streaking, injured Hawks will be short-handed vs 76ers

ATLANTA (AP) - The Atlanta Hawks are short-handed as they try to extend their franchise-record 18-game winning streak against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.

The worst injury may be to Thabo Sefolosha, who the Hawks said could miss up to two months with a right calf injury. DeMarre Carroll and Shelvin Mack are also out with injuries against the 76ers.

Carroll was also held out of Friday night's 105-99 win over Portland with a left Achilles strain. Sefolosha started for him but lasted only two minutes before leaving with a calf strain.

Tests confirmed the strain and he is expected to miss six to eight weeks.

Mack, a backup point guard who has a left calf strain, missed his sixth straight game.

The winning streak has lifted the Hawks to the NBA's best record at 39-8.
