Shot fired in movie theater but nobody injured

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a shot was fired but nobody was injured during a dispute in a suburban Detroit theater.

The Detroit News and broadcasters report the AMC Star Southfield was closed Friday evening after the shot. Officers say the gun was recovered and a man taken into custody told them he fired it.

Police say the argument started between two men before a movie started. One of them produced the weapon and fired it, and the other fled.
