Believe Project: $100 to niece who has toddler with brain tumor

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Margaret Anleitner of Algonquin.

Here is an excerpt of her pitch:

"My story is about my niece and her 1-year-old boy. She has four boys. Last August, the 1-year-old was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his brainstem. This adorable baby has endured a multitude of tests and several surgeries. He spent close to two months in the hospital, most of it in the PEDs ICU. The medical bills are huge; and, the money will be applied to the bills."

• The Believe Project will mail a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else. Email us your pitch of 100 words or fewer (include your name, address and hometown) to specialevents@dailyherald.com.
