'Social Media Marketing Made Simple' Feb. 3 at St. Charles library

The St. Charles Public Library will host a free workshop for anyone interested in incorporating social media marketing into their business or organization.

"Social Media Marketing Made Simple" will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the library's Huntley Meeting Room, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

Presenter Norbert Barszczewski of SCORE will present an overview of social media, its importance and how to evaluate the channels that are right for your business or organization. He also will explain how to create an integrated marketing plan using social media, email and other marketing efforts.

An Internet marketing expert, Barszczewski is the founder and president of JP NetQuest Inc. in Northbrook. His comprehensive internet marketing approach is demonstrated by a number of successfully completed HTML email marketing campaigns, online advertising management and vast search engine optimization experience.

SCORE is a national, non-profit association composed of retired and semi-retired executives and business owners who share their business experience and provide free business mentoring to anyone who is operating a small business or thinking about starting one.
