Authorities identify body of man found in Grand River

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have identified the body of a 43-year-old man pulled from a western Michigan river.

Police tell The Grand Rapids Press for a story Friday that Eric Scott Love's mother reported him missing on Dec. 16.

Love's body was spotted Thursday afternoon near the Sixth Street bridge and pulled from the Grand River in Grand Rapids by a dive team.

Authorities are awaiting an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Foul play is not suspected.
