I-PLUS (Independent Positive Living Under Supervision) welcomes new ED

I-PLUS (Independent Positive Living Under Supervision) welcomes a new executive director, Lori Harper. She will join I-PLUS Feb. 2.

Harper comes from HealthReach of Lake County, where she spent eight years as their operations manager. She has also worked as youth program director of Libertyville United Methodist Church.

I-PLUS is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit. I-PLUS acts as payee for more than 140 formerly homeless individuals. Most of these people suffer from acute mental illness, and over half are veterans.

I-PLUS' mission is to assist chronically homeless individuals who are entitled to federal benefits, manage their funds so they can be housed, treated, and achieve a level of financial responsibility. In doing so, I-PLUS serves not only the individuals, but the community at large.
