"Charlotte's Web" is based on the beloved children's novel by E.B. White. This play production tells a story of a little pig named Wilbur. Wilbur was born a runt. Mr. Arable decides to kill him for dinner, but his daughter Fern begs him to let Wilbur live. As he matures, Wilbur is sold to Fern's uncle, Homer L. Zuckerman, in whose barnyard he's left yearning for friendship. He is snubbed by all the other barn animals. Wilbur is scared about the end of the season. He knows that when this time comes he will end up on the dinner table. He hatches a plan with Charlotte, a gentle and wise grey spider that lives in his pen. Together they ensure that this will never happen.

The production is being directed by Jonah Parra and Dan Walsh (both of Chicago).

The cast includes: Sophie Kaegi (of Palatine) as Charlotte, Kevin Foss (of Palatine) as Wilbur, Nadia Shaaban (of Barrington) as Fern, Tanya Williams (of Palatine) as Mrs. Arable, Peter Johns (of Palatine) as Mr. Arable, Morgan Smith (of Barrington) as Avery, Matthew Smalec (of Elgin) as Templeton, and Isabel Kaegi (of Palatine), Jodie Lloyd (of Itasca), and Zoe Morehead (of Mount Prospect) as the narrators.
