Packers fan caught in Super Bowl ticket mess still waiting

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - An Ellison Bay man says the NFL is making good on a pledge made after a Super Bowl ticket debacle four years ago in Texas.

Pete D'Amico and his son were among hundreds of fans who had tickets, but were initially turned away because temporary seating was deemed unsafe.

Affected fans were given the option of a monetary reimbursement or tickets to a future Super Bowl. D'Amico chose the game.

He tells WLUK-TV (http://bit.ly/1Kbn8zQ ) that the NFL has been in contact with him every year. As a Green Bay Packers fan, he had high hopes for this year but now is focused on Super Bowl 50.

Not all ticketholders accepted the NFL's offer. Attorney Michael Avenatti says he's representing hundreds of fans in litigation against the NFL.
