Brady feels better, expects to be 100 percent for Super Bowl

CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Tom Brady expects his cold to be gone in time for the Super Bowl.

The Patriots quarterback still sounded congested when he said Thursday, "I expect to be 100 percent on Sunday. I'll be ready to go."

He showed signs of the cold on Wednesday after appearing healthy during Super Bowl Media Day on Tuesday. He participated fully in practice on Wednesday and said he felt a lot better Thursday.

Brady says it felt good to run around at practice. And Brady says he's dealt with similar situations many times.

Brady said his illness "kind of ran through my house. I'm glad it happened early in the week."
