Lake in the Hills, Algonquin investigate graffiti

The Lake in the Hills Police Department is asking for help identifying who is responsible for spray-paint graffiti vandalism found there and in Algonquin, officials said.

Lake in the Hills police said the graffiti occurred between Algonquin Road and Indian Trail Beach sometime between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release. The blue spray-paint graffiti was found on several structures and street signs, officials said.

The Algonquin Police Department said it is also investigating identical graffiti.
