Grain lower, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar delivery was unchanged at $5.0525 a bushel; Mar corn was 3.75 cents lower at $3.6950 a bushel; Mar oats were unchanged at $2.8750 a bushel; while Mar soybeans lost 1.75 cents to $9.6850 a bushel.
Beef mostly higher and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Apr live cattle was 1.15 cents higher at $1.5265 a pound; Mar feeder cattle was 1.45 cents higher at $2.0580 a pound; Apr lean hogs lost .25 cent to $.7470 a pound.
