Man rescued after nearly 20 hours trapped in Iowa grain bin

LITTLEPORT, Iowa (AP) - A 33-year-old man has been treated at a hospital after being rescued from a northeast Iowa grain bin where he'd been trapped for nearly 20 hours.

Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reports (http://bit.ly/1yKQ27P ) that Rod Sylvester got buried up to his neck on Saturday, with only one arm free. Firefighters from the Littleport area responded to the farm and were able to free him on Sunday.

Clayton County authorities say Sylvester was treated at a hospital in Manchester and released.
