Lakes Community High School Bully Assembly
Something BIG that is about to happen at Lakes Community High School on February 4 at 10 AM…the BIGGEST. ASSEMBLY. EVER. They have joined forces with Secret (yes the deodorant!) and account executives at Leo Burnett to participate in the well-known campaign against bullying, called "Mean Stinks." Since 2011 this program has created a forum for students to speak out against the impact of bullying. The main event takes place on February 4th at a school in California with Lakes being selected as one of 2 satellite schools (the other in Manahattan). Production crews will be at Lakes so students can be active participants in the assembly, some having the opportunity to interact with host Keenan West and stars from the new movie, "The Duff" that will be released on February 20. Over 300 other schools across the country are going to be watching the assembly so we are very excited to be a part of it!
