Bees, bugs and butterflies topic of CFC program

Experienced conservationist and insect photographer Joan Sayre will lead the discussion at Citizens for Conservation's February program, "Bees, Bugs and Butterflies."

Sayre is a member of the Riverwoods Nature Photographic Society and has shown her nature prints in Lake County exhibits and publications. Several of her photographs are on permanent display at the Lake County Forest Preserve District Headquarters.

The hourlong program takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Barrington Village Hall, 200 S. Hough St. Barrington. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for coffee, displays, conversation and handouts. Free parking is located behind the building.

The attendance fee is $10 for nonmembers, payable at the program. CFC members attend free as a benefit of membership. RSVP to (847) 382-SAVE (7283) or email cfc@citizensforconservation.org. To ensure proper registration, please provide your name, phone number and program title.
