Just now concerned about middle class?

I find it interesting the president has offered an olive branch to the Republican Party since the election that showed him and his party that the people of this country were not happy with his performance.

This is the same person who preached transparency and immediately sealed his records.

The same person who promised televised and open door discussion on proposed health care changes and then jammed it through in a closed-door session in one day without one Republican present.

Now he represents the minority party and he is definitely sold on nonpartisan politics.

What a difference a few years make.

Now he is concerned about the middle class after being in office for some six years.

This must be the same middle class that paid thousands of dollars for a plate of tough chicken to help raise funds for his re-election.

Yes, some of the economy has improved but it has yet to trickle down to the middle class and he knows it.

I know he was concerned with the middle class when he bailed out the banks and investment firms and then saw these same firms pay billions of dollars in bonuses for running their companies into the ground.

Our tax money bailed these companies out and still they paid the huge bonuses.

I am sure the First Lady shared her concerns about the middle class when she spent millions of dollars on her travels.

"The girls have never been to Paris."
