Suspects arrested in Farmington Hills carjacking, abduction

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (AP) - The Farmington Hills Police Department has arrested two suspects accused of carjacking and abducting a 40-year-old woman.

According to a press release, the vehicle was stolen late Monday night at a Farmington Hills apartment complex. The department says the owner was assaulted and forced into the back of her vehicle by a man and a woman.

Police say the victim escaped by rolling out of the moving vehicle. They say she was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.

The department says the vehicle was recovered and the suspects were arrested after a brief foot chase in Farmington Hills on Thursday afternoon.

The names of the suspects haven't been released due to pending charges.
