Congo and Cape Verde play to 0-0 at African Cup

EBEBIYIN, Equatorial Guinea (AP) - Congo goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba made three tough saves in the final minutes to preserve a 0-0 draw with Cape Verde at the African Cup of Nations on Thursday.

Kidiaba stopped a header from a corner in the 87th minute and blocked the resulting shot from the rebound. One minute later, he stopped a shot from Cape Verde forward Heldon.

The draw gives both teams two points in Group B. Tunisia, which beat Zambia 2-1 in the early match, leads the group with four points. Zambia has one.

Congo will play its final group match against Tunisia on Monday in Bata, while Cape Verde will take on Zambia in Ebebiyin.
