Man, child killed in Fond du Lac County crash

TOWN OF FOREST, Wis. (AP) - A man and a young child have died in a highway crash involving three vehicles in Fond du Lac County.

Sheriff's official say a 37-year-old Sheboygan Falls man and a 4-year-old boy died Wednesday afternoon when their car was struck head-on by a semi. Authorities say the car drifted over the center line on Highway 23 in the Town of Forest and clipped the bumper of an SUV. That caused the car to spin into the other lane where it was hit by the semi.

Chief Deputy Mark Strand tells Action Reporter Media (http://strib.mn/15ekETl) no one else was seriously hurt in the crash. The boy died at the scene. The man died at a local hospital.
