Antioch Township to host blood drive:
Antioch Township and the Antioch Area Health Accessibility Alliance will sponsor a LifeSource blood drive and bone marrow registration on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Antioch Township building, 1625 Deep Lake Road, Lake Villa. To schedule your blood donation appointment, contact LifeSource at (877) 543-3768 or go to www.lifesource.org and use Group Code 337D. To become a potential bone marrow donor, you only have to allow a swab of cheek cells. No needles are involved. To join in person, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 44. If you are 45 or older, join online at www.bethematch.org and use the promo code: Antioch.
