Central Music Boosters to host "Dessert First Music Gala" March 7

The Burlington Central District 301 Performing Arts Music Boosters will present its "Dessert First Music Gala" at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Elgin Community College's University & Business Center, Building E, 1700 Spartan Drive. Enjoy desserts, appetizers and a cash bar. Prepare to be entertained by the live music of Windy City Dueling Pianos, playing your favorites by request.

Live and silent auction items include overnight stays at locations from Lake Geneva to San Francisco, tickets to sporting events, artwork, gift baskets and more.

Tickets are $35 per person in advance by Feb. 18, or $40 after that. The deadline for tickets is Feb. 26.

The fundraiser benefits District 301 programs and entertainment such as "Vocal Velocity," fall musicals, marching band, band, choir, Men of Note, chorus and more.
