Red Bulls acquire goalkeeper Kyle Reynish from Fire

HARRISON, N.J. (AP) - Goalkeeper Kyle Reynish has been acquired by the New York Red Bulls from the Chicago Fire for a third-round selection in next year's Major League Soccer draft.

Reynish played in one game for the Fire, a 2-1 defeat to D.C. United on Oct. 18.

He was voted top goalkeeper in the second-tier North American Soccer League in 2013 with the New York Cosmos. After helping UC Santa Barbara win the 2006 NCAA title, Reynish appeared in eight games during six seasons with Real Salt Salke.

The deal was announced Tuesday.
