Believe Project: $100 to help friend buy diapers for her baby

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is David Barnhill of Addison.

Here is an excerpt of his pitch:

"If I was lucky enough to receive the $100, I would give it to my friend Rebecca. She's a mom of a 10-month-old boy. His name is Logan. She's having a hard time with providing things for him, like wipes and diapers. She's also having a hard time finding a permanent home. So if I ended up winning the $100, it would be going to Rebecca and her son so they can live a bit easier."

• The Believe Project will mail a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else. Email us your pitch of 100 words or fewer (include your name, address and hometown) to specialevents@dailyherald.com.
