Inverness Resident Authors Article in Illinois Bar Journal

Brian A. Schroeder, of Inverness, a partner at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP in Chicago, is the author of "The New Illinois Spousal Maintenance Law: Retroactive or Prospective?," an article which appears in the January 2015 issue of the "Illinois Bar Journal," the monthly magazine of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA).

In the article, the author provides a point-by-point analysis as to which changes in the new Illinois Spousal Maintenance Law will apply retroactively and which apply only prospectively.

The 33,000-member ISBA (isba.org), with offices in Springfield and Chicago, provides professional services to Illinois lawyers, and education and services to the public through a website (illinoislawyerfinder.com), consumer brochures, and distribution of legal information.
