Preschool to host open house

Algonquin Preschool, 109 Washington St. in Algonquin, is hosting its annual open house for the 2015-16 school year from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24. Open registration will begin at the open house. Feel free to stop in for a visit with your child anytime to see their programs in action. Algonquin Preschool was established in 1988 as a nonprofit preschool facility located in the educational area of the Congregational Church of Algonquin. Visit www.algonquinpreschool.org.

The school also still has a few openings in its current Tuesday/Thursday 3's program. Algonquin Preschool offers programs for 2- to 5-year-old children. These programs are based on the developmental stages of young children. Algonquin Preschool is staffed with educated, caring adults who nurture and encourage children to explore, experiment, and develop skills at their own pace. Algonquin Preschool provides a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for a positive learning experience. It is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
