Rosemont pays for newspaper subscriptions

Rosemont will continue to pay for its residents to receive copies of a local weekly newspaper.

The village board this week approved $27,217 annual contracts for 2015 and 2016 with the Journal & Topics Newspapers to deliver the Rosemont Journal to 1,700 households.

Mayor Brad Stephens said at the board meeting that the newspaper "is a great tool to get information out to our folks every week."
