Nancy Miller Performs Violin Concert at David Adler Music and Arts Center

The David Adler Music & Arts Center Concert Series presents Nancy Miller, a Solo Violin Concert, Saturday, January 17th at 7pm.

Join Ms. Miller as she plays Bach's seminal works for the violin, otherworldly and fantastic themes from Prokofiev's Sonata, and her original composition, "WW33," which Miller says "is dedicated to the one I love."

Nancy Miller is a graduate of the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. A long-time instructor at the Adler Center, Miller has played with four symphony orchestras, and formed two chamber ensembles, for which she also composes.

Miller looks forward to sharing a mix of classical and contemporary pieces with the Lake County community. She says "[Bach's] pieces can be a stark, even jolting experience for the listener... all violinists pass through and become greater violinists from studying these pieces."
