Palatine Park District Presents Valentines for Veterans

On Monday, January 19, Palatine Park District's Service Committee will be hosting a Valentines for Veterans event as part of the National Day of Service. This second annual card making event will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am at Community Center, 250 E. Wood Street, Palatine. Cards made by community members will be donated to area veterans hospitals for distribution for Valentine's Day.

Members of the community are invited to stop by for the entire time, or just stop by to make a card or two. All supplies will be provided and all ages are welcome to attend this event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The fee is just $3 per family and pre-registration can be completed online at www.palatineparks.org using code 6411-4 or in person at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center.
