Seniors grateful for all their 'Santas'

On behalf of the staff at Home Instead Senior Care, I would like to thank everyone who helped with this year's "Be a Santa to a Senior" program.

With support from generous shoppers, ManorCare Health Services - Rolling Meadows, ManorCare at Arlington Heights, Arden Courts of Elk Grove, Clare Oaks Senior Living, Bartlett, American Chartered Bank- Elk Grove Village, American Chartered Bank- Schaumburg, Curves of Elk Grove Village and Hoffman Estates, the Elk Grove Village Public Library, J Scott Salon in Buffalo Grove, Pepsi Beverages Company Midwest Region Cultural and Inclusion Committee, in Schaumburg and Red Like Polish in Schaumburg, we were able to collect more than 250 gifts for local seniors who otherwise might have been overlooked this holiday season.

We also would like to thank the many volunteers especially the National Honor Society members from Elk Grove High School and Rolling Meadows High School who donated their time to collect, wrap and deliver the gifts to 250 area seniors, many of whom struggle to make ends meet.

Thanks to ALL those who helped us brighten the holidays for our local seniors and truly making a difference in our community.
