Suburbs mark Respect Life Month

Several Northwest suburban Catholic churches will participate in Respect Life Month activities organized by the Chicago Archdiocese to mark the 42nd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions. At 1 p.m. Jan. 17 people will gather at St. Theresa Parish, 455 N. Benton in Palatine for the annual Northwest Families March for Life. At 7 p.m. Jan. 22, St. Isaac Jogues Parish, 8101 W. Golf Road, Niles will host a Holy Hour for Life. Then, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Jan. 31, the Speakout Illinois Annual Conference will be held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, 5440 N. River Road in Rosemont, with Professor Robert P. George from Princeton University, a Henry Hyde Life Leadership Award recipient, as keynote speaker.
